Weather Updates: Fog wreaks havoc in North India, flight and train services affected; Meteorological Department issued an alert

A severe cold has knocked in North India. Because of this, the Meteorological Department has issued red and yellow alerts. Dense fog is expected in many states of the northern part of the country on Wednesday morning. From Delhi to Bihar these days the morning starts with a thick sheet of fog. According to the Meteorological Department, the condition of the fog will remain like this for the next few days.

 

At the same time, the effect of bad weather is now visible on flights, trains, and buses. Flights were diverted in Chandigarh, Varanasi, and Lucknow on Tuesday night due to bad weather. Along with this, many trains are running late. At the same time, it has been decided not to ply the roadways buses plying in UP at night.

 

Alert issued because of cold

Let us tell you that because of the cold, the Meteorological Department has issued a red alert in the North Indian states. Dense fog was seen in Delhi NCR including UP, Punjab, and Haryana on Tuesday. During this, many accidents also occurred due to low visibility. At the same time, people had to face difficulties. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in Delhi till 23 December. That is, during this time, special care needs to be taken while going out in the morning.

 

Night bus service banned in UP

Please tell that because of the fog, the UP government has banned the night bus service. Along with this, the school timings have been changed in Punjab. On Tuesday, two vehicles of Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala's convoy collided with each other while going from Hisar to Sirsa in Haryana due to fog, injuring the police force in the vehicle. Similarly, the news of the accident came out from other states.
