Weather U-turn: Cloudy skies and drizzle in Delhi-NCR, winds up to 40 km/h; Yellow alert for rain

The weather in Delhi-NCR has changed today. Clouds have enveloped the entire region, already experiencing intense heat in February, and drizzle has occurred in many areas. The Delhi Meteorological Department has warned of worsening weather on Wednesday, prompting a yellow alert. During this period, strong winds, accompanied by thunderstorms and rain, are expected in various parts of the capital. Drizzle has been observed in several areas of the NCR, including Delhi, Gurugram, and Faridabad.

 

 

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in Delhi is expected to be the worst on Wednesday. Strong winds are expected to blow at speeds of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. Drizzle is being reported in many areas of Delhi. The Meteorological Department also predicted rain in Noida. Meteorologist Mahesh Palawat said that the western disturbance will cause a change in the weather in North India. This week, the minimum temperature is expected to be between 13 and 14 degrees Celsius, and the maximum temperature between 28 and 29 degrees Celsius.

 

 

According to Meteorological Department data, Delhi saw temperatures rise in February due to bright sunshine. This made the month of February feel like March-like heat. On Tuesday, the sky remained clear, and the sun shone brightly throughout the day. However, a slight chill in the morning and evening persisted. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature during this period was 30.9 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 12.4 degrees Celsius. The maximum humidity in Delhi was 95 percent, and the minimum humidity was 32 percent. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature was recorded at 12.2 degrees Celsius in Ridge, 13.8 degrees Celsius in Aya Nagar, 12.6 degrees Celsius in Lodhi Road, and 15.3 degrees Celsius in Palam.

 

 

This week will see a major change in the weather.

Although the rain in Delhi will not significantly reduce the temperature, the maximum temperature on February 18th and 19th was recorded at 26 to 28 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature on February 18th is expected to be 13 to 15 degrees Celsius. Additionally, the maximum temperature is expected to be 12 to 14 degrees Celsius from February 19th to 22nd. On the other hand, the maximum temperature is expected to be 27 to 29 degrees Celsius on February 20th and 21st. The increase will continue even after this. After this, the maximum temperature is expected to be 28 to 30 degrees Celsius on February 22nd and 23rd. The minimum temperature in Delhi may also rise to 14 to 16 degrees Celsius on February 1st. Overall, there will be a major change in the weather this week.
