Controversy continues over many issues
Since taking over in July 2019, there has been a tussle between Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar and the TMC government over several issues including the functioning of universities. Then the education minister of the state had said that if the prime minister can be the chancellor of the central university Vishwa Bharati, then why not the chief minister of the state universities.
