पिछले हफ्ते, ब्राजील के राष्ट्रपति और भारतीय पीएम ने टेलीफोन पर बात की और COVID-19 महामारी के प्रसार के मद्देनजर वैश्विक स्थिति पर चर्चा की और हाइड्रोक्सीक्लोरोक्वीन के लिए एक अनुरोध किया जो भारत बड़ी संख्या में पैदा करता है।

 

हाइड्रॉक्सीक्लोरोक्वाइन के उत्पादन के लिए फार्मास्यूटिकल्स के प्रावधान की निरंतरता में समर्थन का अनुरोध किया, ”ब्राजील के राष्ट्रपति ने एक ट्वीट में कहा।

 

भारत सरकार की एक प्रेस विज्ञप्ति में कहा गया है, "प्रधानमंत्री ने इस कठिन घड़ी में ब्राज़ील के राष्ट्रपति को हरसंभव सहायता का आश्वासन दिया। वे इस बात पर सहमत हुए कि उनके अधिकारी COVID-19 स्थिति और इसकी उभरती चुनौतियों के संबंध में नियमित संपर्क में रहेंगे।"

 

भारत को हाइड्रोक्सीक्लोरोक्वीन के लिए 30 देशों से अनुरोध प्राप्त हुए हैं।

 

इससे पहले, अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति ने फिर से भारत से HCQ प्राप्त करने की बात की। सप्ताहांत में पीएम मोदी के साथ अपनी बातचीत को याद करते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि भारतीय पीएम महान थे, वह वास्तव में बहुत अच्छे थे जब उन्होंने "बात की .... पूछा कि क्या यह ठीक होगा अगर उन्होंने इसे (एचसीक्यू) जारी किया"।

 

ट्रम्प ने कहा "उनके पास..इसका भारत से बाहर आना है..उन्होंने रोक लगा दी, क्योंकि वे भारत के लिए चाहते हैं।"

 

पिछले पांच दिनों में यह तीसरी बार है जब राष्ट्रपति ट्रम्प ने भारत से हाइड्रोक्सीक्लोरोक्वीन के अपने अमेरिकी आदेश के बारे में बात की है। निर्यात पर प्रतिबंध लगाए जाने से पहले लगाए गए अमेरिकी आदेश के अनुबंध संबंधी दायित्वों को भारतीय कंपनियां पूरा करेंगी
