According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the temperature was recorded at 43.3 ° C at Safdarjung Observatory in Delhi, 44.3 ° C at Palam, 43.3 ° C at Lodi Road, 44.9 ° C at Ridge and 45.3 ° C at Ayanagar.

The national capital may witness a change in the weather as the Meteorological Department has predicted light rain along with thunderstorms and strong winds on June 11, which will make the weather hot and humid.
Temperature may drop
After Thursday, the IMD has predicted no heat wave like conditions till Sunday, June 15. Strong winds and thunderstorms are likely between June 13 and 15. The Meteorological Department has predicted the maximum temperature to come down to 37-41 degrees Celsius these days.
Orange alert in Punjab and Haryana
At the same time, according to the Meteorological Department, an orange alert has been issued for four days regarding heatwave in Punjab and Haryana.
Apart from North India, many other areas are also likely to receive heavy rains today. These areas include Assam, Meghalaya, coastal and interior Karnataka, Kerala and Mahe, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal.
