The number of corona patients in the country has increased to 36 lakh 87 thousand 939. Within the last 24 hours, 68 thousand 766 new patients increased. It is a matter of relief that the number of people who have been cured of the infection has also crossed 28 lakh.

 

So far, 28 lakh 37 thousand 377 people have been cured. On Monday, 64 thousand 435 patients were discharged from the hospital. The recovery rate has also increased by 1%. It has now reached 76.85%. Meaning 76 people are recovering in every 100 patients. At the same time, the death toll has also crossed 65 thousand. So far 65 thousand 435 patients have died due to infection. 7.83 lakh patients are currently being treated.

 

Meanwhile, former Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi's condition has become critical. He is infected with Corona. He was admitted to GMCH hospital on Monday night when his oxygen level was suddenly low. The state Health Minister said that the doctors have decided to put him on one unit of plasma and oxygen support.

 

Weekend lockdown will continue in Punjab

 

Meanwhile, the Punjab government has decided to continue the lockdown restrictions until the last week of September. Curfew will also continue in urban areas from 7 to 5 in the evening. Besides, the weekend lockdown will continue in 167 municipal towns.

 

Corona updates

 

The lockdown in the containment zone in West Bengal has been extended till 30 September. The state government has said that the Metro service will be started phase-wise from September 8. Schools and colleges will not open until 30 September. Cinema halls, swimming pools, amusement parks, and theaters will remain closed.

 

Regarding international flights, DGCA said that the ban on scheduled international flights to and from India has now been extended to 30 September. International flights have been closed since 23 March. Air India flights are operating under the Vande Bharat Mission to bring the stranded Indians abroad.

 

The Delhi High Court has ordered the Corona Test facility to be started at bus bases for people coming from outside in the capital. Delhi government will have to start this facility within 7 days.

 

Uttar Pradesh minister Mohsin Raza has also been found to be Corona positive. More than 10 ministers of the Yogi government have been in the grip of infection so far.

 

The Union Health Ministry released its figures on Monday morning. According to this, 78 thousand 512 patients increased in one day and 971 people died. With this, the total number of infected in the country has increased to 36 lakh 21 thousand 246. There are 7 lakh 81 thousand 975 active cases in them. At the same time, 27 lakh 74 thousand 802 patients have become healthy. So far, 64 thousand 469 patients have died.

 

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said on Monday that on August 30, 8 lakh 46 thousand 278 samples were examined. With this, Corona investigation of 4 crore 23 lakh 7 thousand 914 people has been done so far in the country.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has been discharged from AIIMS on Monday. Shah, aged 55, was recruited on August 18 for post covid care. The Home Minister had complained of body pain, fatigue, and dizziness. He was being treated under the leadership of Dr. Randeep Guleria, director of AIIMS. Earlier on August 2, Shah's Corona report came back positive. He was treated at Medanta Hospital. On August 14, he was discharged from the hospital after the corona report came negative.

 

State of five states

 

1. Madhya Pradesh

 

There were record cases of infection in the state on Monday. According to the health department, reports of 1,532 people a day in the state have come back positive. After which the total figure of corona infected has reached 63 thousand 965. Among them, there are 13 thousand 914 patients who are currently being treated. 48 thousand 657 people have been cured while 1,394 patients have died. In the last 24 hours, there were 20 deaths due to infection. Of which 4 have died in Indore, 5 in Bhopal, 2-2 in Gwalior-Jabalpur-Khargone.

 

2. Rajasthan.

 

On Monday, 1466 new cases of corona were reported in the state. After this, the total positive figure reached 81693. At the same time, 13 people died. These included 2 in Jaipur, 1 each in Dhaulpur, Ganganagar, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Kota, Nagaur, Rajsamand, Udaipur, Ajmer, Bikaner, and Tonk.

 

At the same time, the Corona report of BJP MLA Ashok Lahoti from Sanganer in Jaipur and former Mayor of Jaipur Jyoti Khandelwal has also come positive. Both of them reported to be positive through their social media accounts.

 

3. Bihar

The state received 1,324 new cases of infection on Monday. With this, the number of infected increased to 1 lakh 36 thousand 337. Of these, 1 lakh 19 thousand 572 people have been cured, while 694 patients have died.

 

4. Maharashtra

On Monday, 11 thousand 852 new cases of corona were reported in the state, 11 thousand 158 recoveries and 184 people died. Now there are 1 lakh 94 thousand 56 patients in the state who are still being treated. So far, 5 lakh 73 thousand 559 people have been cured, while 24 thousand 583 people have lost their lives.

 

5. Uttar Pradesh

 

On Monday, the report of Mohsin Raza, Minister of State for Minority Welfare, came positive. Indeed, some of his staff colleagues were found infected. After this, the Minister of State also got his inquiry conducted. Raza has quarantined himself in government housing.

 

There have been 5061 cases in the state in the last 24 hours. While 67 people have died. So far 2,30,414 corona have been infected in the state. While the death toll has reached 3486. 54,788 people are currently undergoing treatment. It is a matter of relief that 1,72,140 people have become completely healthy. Out of the total active cases, 27,263 people are in home isolation. So far 1,00,682 people have opted for home isolation.
