Yogi in Delhi, brainstorming on UP: CM Yogi meets PM Modi and Nadda, talks about cabinet expansion and elections; Jitin Prasad and AK Sharma can be made ministers in UP

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP National President JP Nadda separately on Friday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Yogi had a meeting for about one and a half hours. It is said that in this meeting, Yogi submitted the report of his four years' work to the PM. Apart from this, there was also a churn regarding cabinet expansion in UP and assembly elections to be held in the state next year. After this, Yogi and BJP's national president JP Nadda prepared the outline of the change that would happen in UP. This meeting of both lasted for about two hours. It is being told that now in a while Yogi can also meet President Ram Nath Kovind.

What happened in the politics of UP in the last 15 days?

 

On 27 May, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel reached UP after suddenly ending her tour of Madhya Pradesh.

As soon as the Governor arrived, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met him. The conversation between the two lasted for about an hour.

On June 1, BJP's National Organization General Secretary BL Santosh and UP in-charge Radha Mohan Singh reached Lucknow.

BL Santosh and Radha Mohan Singh met cabinet ministers and organization leaders of UP.

On June 5 and 6, BJP National President JP Nadda took the report of UP from BL Santosh, Radha Mohan Singh.

On the evening of June 5, JP Nadda and BL Santosh met PM Modi.

On June 9, veteran Congress leader and close aide of Rahul Gandhi, Jitin Prasada joined the BJP.

On June 10, Yogi Adityanath reached Delhi and here he met Home Minister Amit Shah.

On 11th, Yogi met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and JP Nadda. Will also meet with the President.

 

Meet Shah and Jitin Prasad a day earlier

Yogi Adityanath met Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi at around 4 pm on Thursday. On the other hand, the National President of BJP met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It is said that before meeting Yogi, Nadda and PM Modi talked about UP for about two hours. In this, discussions were held regarding the organization, the government, and the cabinet proposal. Late last night, former Union Minister Jitin Prasada, who left Congress and joined BJP, met Yogi Adityanath in UP Bhawan. The conversation between the two lasted for about an hour.

 

Anupriya and Sanjay Nishad also met Shah, eyes on cabinet expansion

 

Apna Dal (S) President and MP Anupriya Patel and Nishad Party President Dr. Sanjay Nishad held a meeting with Amit Shah on Thursday itself. Both had come to meet Shah at different times. Sources told Bhaskar that Anupriya made an offer to Shah to join the Modi cabinet. Apart from this, she also put a condition to include her husband Ashish Patel in the possible cabinet expansion in Uttar Pradesh. He also asked some other leaders of Apna Dal S to be made members in different commissions and corporations of UP. Apart from this, there was a long discussion about the candidates for the election of the District Panchayat President. On the other hand, Sanjay Nishad also talked about cabinet expansion in UP. It is said that Sanjay put forth a demand in front of Shah that he should also be included in the cabinet.

 

Former minister targets BJP

As soon as Yogi reached Delhi, Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party's national president and former minister Om Prakash Rajbhar, an ally of BJP, has targeted the Chief Minister. Om Prakash Rajbhar said on social media, 'BJP is a sinking boat. Whoever has to ride on their chariot may happen, but we will not ride. When elections are near, they remember backward. When the chief minister has to be made, he brings them from outside and makes them. Four-and-a-half years have passed since the issues on which we had reached an agreement, not a single word has been completed. Om Prakash demanded imposition of the President's rule in the state. Said that if the President wants to save 24 crore people of UP, then it is necessary.
