The second match of the three-match ODI series between India and Sri Lanka will be played at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Thursday. In the first match where India defeated Sri Lanka to take a 1-0 lead in the series. At the same time, by winning the second match, the series will look to make its name. If captain Rohit Sharma does not make any changes in the team for the second ODI, then Ishaan Kishan and Suryakumar may have to wait for their innings.

Batting first in the first ODI, India scored 374 runs at the loss of 7 wickets. Sri Lanka chased down the target brilliantly. Despite a poor start, opener Pathum Nishanka steadied the Sri Lankan innings, scoring a match-winning 72 off 80 balls. Apart from him, Dhananjaya de Silva scored 47 runs in 40 balls.

Indian openers gave a solid start

Please tell that captain Dasun Shanka played an unbeaten inning of 108 runs in 88 balls, yet could not win the team. Earlier, Indian batsmen did amazing batting. Opener skipper Rohit Sharma (83 runs) and Shubman Gill (70 runs) gave India a strong start. Later, India beat Sri Lanka by 67 runs with the best performance of fast bowlers.

Rohit would not like to make any changes to the team

In the second ODI, India can go with the old playing XI. The opener has done a great job. At the same time, KL Rahul can remain on the team as a wicketkeeper. Because of this, Suryakumar Yadav and Ishaan Kishan, who has scored a double century, may have to wait for their turn. Apart from this, fast bowler Arshdeep and China man Kuldeep Yadav can also be seen sitting on the bench.
