The little town was the perfect little town,
Where never would you see even one little frown.
No matter where you'd go around town to stroll,
There were perfect little houses, all in a perfect row.
It was the perfect town, till you crossed the tracks,
Where there were rows and rows of dirty little shacks.
The people who lived there lived just outside,
Just outside of the perfect little town.
When you proceed,
Some will say it can't be done
And that there is no need
<What if we were really true
And said everything we thought
Could we then stop fee
While you weren't here
I cried every night.
A million tears fell,
Still,
If you awake to one more dreary day,
an empty heart with empty hours to kill,
rem
When your mind is set
On a splendid thing you want to do,
Some will shrug,
<Some feelings are shallow, some feelings are deep.
Some make us smile, some make us weep.
I like to blaze new trails
on the road to nowhere.
On a journey through time,
I've envied the people around me
So invested in living each day,
While I spent my
Shadows on the wall
Noises down the hall
Life doesn't frighten me at all
You may see me struggle,
but you won't see me fall.
Regardless if I'm weak or not
