Kolkata, Feb 28 (IANS) Finance Minister Arun Jaitley Saturday announced the Atal Innovation Mission with an initial fund of Rs.150 crore for research and development.
"The platform will also provide a network of world class hubs...The initial sum of Rs.150 crores will be earmarked for this purpose," Jaitley said while presenting India's national budget for the next fiscal.
With the help of entrepreneurs and researchers, the platform will foster a culture of innovation, research and development, the minister said.
