Hyderabad, which started chasing the target of 207 runs, started with a shock. Travis Head, who came to open the batting, returned after scoring only one run. He was targeted by Will Jacques on the last ball of the first over. After this Abhishek Sharma was out after scoring 31 runs. In this match, Shahbaz Ahmed scored 40 (not out) and Pat Cummins scored 31 runs. Apart from these three players, no batsman of the team could stay on the wicket for long. Against RCB, Markram could score seven, Nitish 13, Klaasen seven, Abdul Samad 10, Bhuvneshwar Kumar 13, and Unadkat eight (not out).
