Controversy over saffron in Taj Mahal: Jagadguru Paramhansacharya said - prevented from going inside due to saffron, the officer apologized

Jagadguru Paramhansacharya of the ascetic camp of Ayodhya has accused him of stopping him from going to Agra Taj Mahal. He says that he was stopped for wearing saffron. However, officials claim that Jagadguru was forbidden to take the iron brahmdand inside. The officers also apologized after the dispute escalated.

Paramhansacharcha says that he had come to see the Shivalinga buried in the Taj Mahal. When he started entering the Taj Mahal with his disciples at 5.35 pm, the CISF personnel present there stopped him. Objections were raised about their saffron clothes and iron bosom.

 

After talking here, their tickets were taken. When his disciple tried to take his photo, the mobile was snatched and the photos were deleted.

 

CISF employees object to saffron clothes

 

Paramhansacharya told that a woman in a devout family of Aligarh was ill. To whom he had come to Aligarh to bless. Then he reached Agra with his 3 disciples. Had to see the Taj Mahal here. The government gunner was also present with him. He had left for the Taj Mahal from the cremation ground. The policemen present there, knowing his introduction, sat in a golf cart and sent him to the western gate.

 

Hinduists arrived to protest with an effigy

 

Hinduists intensified their protest after Paramahansa was denied entry into the Taj Mahal. Because of this, a police force was deployed at the ASI office in Agra. At around 11 in the morning, the Hindutva reached with an effigy in protest against the ASI. During this, the policemen present there snatched the effigy. The Hindu Mahasabha has filed a complaint against the ASI.

 

No one stopped Brahmadand in Mathura, Ayodhya, and Kashi

 

Paramhans, a disciple of Paramhansacharya, told in a conversation with Dainik Bhaskar that even in Mathura, Ayodhya, and Kashi, where mobile is forbidden, no one ever stopped the brahmdanda. Brahmdand is not of iron but wood. Along with this, being stopped from going inside because of saffron is worrying.

 

Tourists made fun of, but the saints kept laughing

 

Paramhansacharya further told that a South Indian tourist standing there jokingly said that you have a beard. If you put on the cap, it will work. Why have you come wearing saffron? Paramhans, a disciple of Paramhansacharya, told that we were told at the gate that Yogi Ji was also stopped for wearing saffron. We demand that action should be taken against the culprits.

Controversy has happened before

 

Any kind of publicity is prohibited on the Taj Mahal. There is no restriction on religious costumes like caps, some written angavastras, and the costumes of any place. Despite this, many such cases have come to the fore. In the past, there has been a lot of controversy in the matter of removing the dupatta written by Ramnami and Gayatri Mantra of the models.

 

In the whole episode, Archaeological Superintendent RK Patel said that he had taken an iron rod with him and was forbidden to take it with him. The security personnel had asked him to keep the stick there but he did not agree. It is not known who instigated them outside.

 

Paramhansacharya is related to controversies

 

Paramhansacharya had announced to take water samadhi to demand declaration of Hindu nationalism in India, cancellation of citizenship of Christians and Muslims. However, he was placed under house arrest by the police and could not take Jal Samadhi.
