Corona: Mamta, who was angry after the PM meeting, said - all CMs were sitting like puppets, I did not let me speak

On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting with the Chief Ministers of 10 states and 54 District Magistrates on the issue of the Corona crisis. It also included West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. After the meeting, Mamta Banerjee targeted PM Modi by holding a press conference. Mamta Banerjee alleged that only some BJP chief ministers made their point. Chief Ministers of the remaining states remained silently seated. I could not even speak. Mamta said that she did not send her DM because she would demand medicines and vaccination herself, but she was not given a chance to speak.

 

 

Mamta Banerjee accused the Center of discrimination and said that there was a huge shortage of vaccines in the state. We were about to demand 30 million vaccines, but nothing was allowed to be spoken. This month, 24 lakh vaccines were promised, but only 13 lakh vaccines were given. Lack of vaccine has led to the closure of many vaccination centers. Mamta said that the central government did not send the vaccine as per the demand in the state, so the pace of vaccination has slowed down. Despite this, the state government has purchased a vaccine worth Rs 60 thousand crores at a private level.

 

Center accused of damaging the federal structure

Mamta alleged that the central government had damaged the federal structure. There is no oxygen, medicine, vaccine available. The Chief Minister said that Remedesvir Injection was not given to Bengal as well, PM Modi ran away hiding his face. Mamta Banerjee said that when the Corona case increased, the central team visited Bengal, but now cases of a corpse being found in the Ganges, then the team is not being sent there. The rate of corona positivity has decreased in Bengal. The death rate is 0.9%.

 

Government to vaccinate central government employees: Mamata Banerjee

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee wrote a letter to PM Modi requesting to arrange vaccines for central government employees working in other sectors like railways, airports, ports, defense, banks, insurance, post and telegraph, coal.
