Union Minister and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Giriraj Singh has taken a dig at the opposition's silence on the Bangladesh violence. He attacked not only the big leaders of the India Alliance but also the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi on this issue.
Talking to news agency ANI, Giriraj Singh said on the Bangladesh violence, "I believe that the way Hindus are being tortured in Bangladesh, the Indian government has also reprimanded them. Now people should also intervene in this."
'Their tongue opens only on the Palestine issue'
Giriraj Singh did not stop here. He also attacked AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, referring to him. He said Owaisi is a person who is not present in the House during the national anthem. He is against the Constitution. Hindus are being tortured continuously in Bangladesh, but their tongue does not open even once on this issue. Their tongue opened only in the Palestine case. "
Questions were raised about Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav too.
Union Minister Giriraj Singh in his statement attacked Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi as well as Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav. He said, "Neither Rahul Gandhi says anything on the Bangladesh issue nor Akhilesh Yadav gives any kind of reaction. This tukde-tukde gang never speaks on the Bangladesh issue."
Made this appeal to the international community
Giriraj Singh has also appealed to the international community to come forward and speak on the Bangladesh violence. He said, "Fundamentalists have now taken over in Bangladesh. Hindus are being tortured there. They are not allowed to come to India even legally. Hindu saints have been put in jail. No one knows in what condition those people are living there. Now the time has come that the people of the world should also intervene in Bangladesh."
