Kanpur. Vikas Dubey, accused of killing 8 policemen in Kanpur, is arrested in Ujjain in a dramatic way and even more dramatically in an encounter. According to the police story, Vikas tried to escape by snatching the police pistol after the vehicle overturned in the rain. Killed in police retaliation. The arrest of Vikas in Ujjain's Mahakal temple and what happened while bringing it to Kanpur, has raised many questions on this encounter.

 

 

Police did not present in court in Ujjain

Vikas was arrested by the Madhya Pradesh Police in Ujjain. After this, it was discussed that Vikas would be presented before the magistrate in Ujjain, but later it was directly handed over to UP STF. There was discussion throughout the day on Thursday that Vikas Dubey would be taken from STF chartered plane to Kanpur, but by evening the picture was reversed. It was told that UP STF will take the development by road.

 

 

Media vehicles were behind STF convoy

When the UP STF Vikas Dubey took the road, many media vehicles were behind the convoy of STF. Media said that there was heavy rain on the way. The STF team also ate food at a Dhaba on the highway in Madhya Pradesh. If the media persons also stopped here, STF officials said that police vehicles should not be chased.

 

 

Around 3:15 pm, the STF team tried again to separate the media persons from his convoy at the Jhansi border, but the media persons continued behind the police convoy to Orai, then to the Kanpur countryside.

 

 

Media personnel detached from police convoy at Kanpur city limits

Around 6:00 am, the STF convoy overtook the Bara toll plaza in Kanpur countryside, but the vehicle of the media persons running behind the convoy was stopped by the police of Sachendi police station. When media persons argued with the police, it was said that the road was closed for everyone. After this, the remaining vehicles on the highway were also stopped.

 

 

Then came the notice of turning the car over

When the convoy was stopped, the media persons were arguing with the police that after about 15 minutes, information came that the STF vehicle carrying Vikas Dubey had overturned. After this, the local police station and media personnel proceed. The media persons arrive at the scene after traveling for about 30 minutes. The STF vehicle was overturned there.

 

 

On being asked by STF people, Vikas Dubey tried to run away after the vehicle overturned. He was injured in retaliation by the police, he has been sent to the hospital. A little later, information comes that the doctors in the hospital declared Vikas dead.

 

 

Media chasing the convoy of STF says that several attempts were made to separate the media en route from Ujjain to Kanpur, raising questions about the encounter and the police story.
