A police official said the assailants shot Bindru from close range when he was at his pharmacy. He said Bindru was taken to the hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. The first attack was done on Bindru, the second attack was on a street hawker in Madin Sahib, Srinagar, and the third attack was done by the terrorists in Bandipora, where the terrorists shot dead a civilian. In these three attacks, three civilians including Bindru have died.
According to the information, the police also said that the person targeted by the terrorists has been identified as Mohammad Shafi Lone, a resident of Naidkhai. The area has been cordoned off and investigation is on to nab the terrorists. After the incident, there has been a stir in the entire area.
