First-time drinkers will be missed
Let us tell you that in the new prohibition law, many exemptions have been given to those who consume alcohol. If caught drinking alcohol for the first time, he will be released by the magistrate with a fine. At the same time, for not paying the fine, there will be one month in jail. Whereas if caught drinking alcohol, again and again, strict action will be taken.
At the same time, under the new law, the trial in such cases will have to be completed within one year. If the police catch illicit liquor in large numbers, then the police will have the right to destroy the remaining liquor by keeping a sample of the liquor. The police will not need permission from the collector to do this.

Let us tell you that in the Liquor Prohibition Act Amendment Bill 2022, the Bihar government will issue instructions for the seizure, search, and destruction of liquor.
