
New Delhi, March 25 (IANS) President Pranab Mukherjee on Wednesday greeted the people of Bangladesh on the eve of the country's National Day and expressed confidence that the relationship between New Delhi and Dhaka would continue to grow.
In his message to Bangladesh President Md. Abdul Hamid, Mukherjee said: "On behalf of the government and the people of India and on my own behalf, I am pleased to convey to you and to the people of Bangladesh our warm greetings and felicitations on the occasion of your National Day."
"I recall with great pleasure our meeting during your visit to India in December, 2014. I am confident that the relationship between our two countries would continue to grow and expand to include new areas of cooperation in a mutually beneficial manner."
