Sonia Gandhi's time is over, now Mamata wants to lead opposition: BJP

The BJP has also taken a dig at the distance being created between the Congress and the Trinamool Congress. BJP's Vice President Dilip Ghosh has taken a jibe at this and said that now Sonia Gandhi's time is over and now Mamta wants to lead the opposition. He said that his play is very old. Every party in the opposition wants him to lead. Mamta also wants to become the leader of the opposition.

Significantly, even during the winter session, the ongoing tussle between Congress and TMC has come to the fore. Even before this, the distance between the two had increased a lot. The reason for this was the rapid transition of Congress leaders to TMC. Let us inform that TMC neither became a part of the meeting called by the Congress nor did it join with other parties including Congress in the protest against the central government. The Congress had called this meeting for formulating a strategy for the winter session. Let us also tell you here that questions are being raised on TMC continuously by Congress.

Recently, it was said on behalf of Congress that TMC is trying to take credit for the victory on the issue of farmers, even though it was nowhere in this fight. Now Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury has said that there is internal nexus between TMC and BJP. Chowdhary has even said that TMC is playing a double game.

It is worth noting that on August 20 this year, when TMC chief Mamata Banerjee and Congress working president Sonia Gandhi met, the talks on both sides were indicated to move in a positive direction. At that time the TMC chief had said that all opposition parties should come together against the BJP's central government. But today this situation has changed.
