The coronavirus spread in India spreads 10 times faster than the coronavirus spread in the world and it is much more dangerous than that. The Center for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB) has detected the new variant N-440K of the coronavirus. This is the new variant after B1.617 and B1.618. It was first discovered in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. This variant may be due to the fear that was born among the people in Visakhapatnam and other parts of the state.
According to scientists, the N440K variant of Corona has been found mainly in southern states such as Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka as well as parts of Maharashtra, and Chhattisgarh.
CCMB scientists found during the study - "The N440k variant of the corona can spread 10 times more viruses than the A2a prototype strain. The A2a prototype strain of the corona is spread around the world. The N440k variant has the potential to produce many more viruses in less time. "
CCMB director Dr. Rakesh Mishra said that the changed form of the Corona N440K variant can spread many times more viruses in a much shorter time.
CCMB scientists said that they have collected samples from several centers, 50% of them are the N440k variant of Corona. It also revealed that this virus is spreading in a particular part of the population and it is more local than other variants.
