
On Friday, 1 lakh 20 thousand 332 people were found corona positive in the country, 1 lakh 97 thousand 371 were cured and 3,370 infected died. In this way, the number of active cases, that is, the number of patients undergoing treatment, decreased by 80,490. The reduction in new cases is a relief. The number of new patients on Friday was the lowest in 59 days. Earlier on 6 April, 1.15 lakh corona reports came positive. For the last five days, new cases are coming to less than 1.50 lakh.
On Friday, 66% of the newly infected cases in the country were found in only 5 states. These include Tamil Nadu (22,651), Kerala (16,229), Karnataka (16,068), Maharashtra (14152), and Andhra Pradesh (10,413). Apart from these, new cases in all states and union territories have reached below 10 thousand.

Restrictions like lockdown in 15 states
There are restrictions like complete lockdown in 15 states of the country. These include Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Mizoram, Goa, Telangana, West Bengal, and Puducherry. Strict restrictions have been imposed here as in the previous lockdown.
Partial lockdown in 17 states/UTs
There is a partial lockdown in 17 states and union territories of the country. That is, there are restrictions here, but there are also exemptions. These include Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Assam, Manipur, Tripura, Andhra Pradesh, and Gujarat.

The Tamil Nadu government has extended the ongoing lockdown in the state for a week. Now it will be applicable till 6 am on 14th June. Relaxation in lockdown has also been announced in most of the districts. The government has announced more relaxation in restrictions in Chennai. The things which were already allowed in all the districts will continue.

On Friday, 14,152 people were found infected here. 20,852 people were cured and 1377 people died. So far 58.05 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 55.07 lakh people have been cured, while 98,771 people died. 1.96 lakh patients are currently undergoing treatment.
2. Chhattisgarh
On Friday, 1,460 people were found corona positive in the state. 3,838 people were cured and 23 died. So far 9.78 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 9.38 lakh people have been cured, while 13,162 people have died. 26,977 patients are undergoing treatment.
3. Gujarat
On Friday, 1,120 people were found corona positive in the state. 3,398 people were cured and 16 died. So far 8.14 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 7.82 lakh people have been cured, while 9,906 patients have died. 24,004 people are being treated here.
4. Uttar Pradesh
On Friday, 1,112 people were found infected here. 3,646 people were cured and 136 people died. So far 16.96 lakh people have been infected in the state. Of these, 16.52 lakh have been cured, while 21,031 patients have died. 22,876 patients are being treated here.
5. Rajasthan
1,006 people were found corona infected here on Friday. 4,370 people were cured and 40 died. So far 9.44 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 9.11 lakh people have been cured, while 8,599 patients have died. Presently 24,004 patients are undergoing treatment.
6. Madhya Pradesh
On Friday, 798 people were found corona positive in the state. 2,045 people were cured and 50 died. So far 7.83 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 7.62 lakh people have been cured, while 8,257 people have died. 12,889 patients are undergoing treatment.
7. Delhi
On Friday, 523 people were found corona positive in Delhi. 1,161 people were cured and 50 died. So far 14.28 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 13.95 lakh people have been cured, while 24,497 patients have died. 8,060 are being treated here.
