Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal held a press conference on Saturday on the situation in Corona. During this, he told about the government's plan to unlock Delhi. He said that the lockdown will continue in Delhi with some more concessions. Markets, malls will open on an odd-even basis. Their timings will be from 10 am to 8 pm. However, Kejriwal has not made it clear when this system will be implemented. By the way, the lockdown in Delhi is applicable till 5 am on 7th June.
He said that the metro will be run with 50% capacity. Seeing the situation of Corona next week will give more concessions. He told that the meeting lasted for 6 hours on Friday to prepare to deal with the third wave. We will prepare for the third wave by assuming the corona cases to peak up to 37 thousand per day. How much bed, oxygen, medicine, and ICU will be needed, it is being assessed.
Separate arrangements will be made for children
Kejriwal said that in the third wave, children are being feared more at risk. So we will make separate arrangements for children in each hospital. From bed to medicine, preparations will be made keeping in mind the children.
The limited presence of the employee in the office
He told that 100% of Group-A officers will work in government offices. Apart from this, Group-B staff will work with 50% capacity. 100% of employees can work in the office related to essential services. At the same time, private offices will also be able to open with 50% manpower. The stand-alone shop will open every day.
preparing two genome sequencing labs
He told that two genome sequencing labs are being set up in Delhi so that we can also know which variant is causing the cases to increase in our country. After that, we can plan after taking opinions from experts. We saw in this wave that a large number of medicines were being suggested on WhatsApp. For this, a team of doctors will be formed. Doctors will tell which medicine should be taken and which should not.

The lockdown was imposed in Delhi on 19 April. After this, it was extended 5 times and at present, it is applicable till 5 am on 7th June. However, in the first phase of unlocking, the exemption was given in two cases from May 31. This includes construction activities and permission to work in industrial areas.
523 cases in Delhi last day
Earlier on Friday, 523 people were found corona positive in Delhi. 1,161 people were cured and 50 died. So far 14.28 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 13.95 lakh people have been cured, while 24,497 patients have died. 8,060 are being treated here.
