About 150 teachers from universities of India and abroad have written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the NEET-JEE exam. He has said "If there is further delay in these exams, it will compromise the students' careers. Some people are playing with the future of students in the course of their political agenda."

It is necessary to remove the doubts on admission and classes soon

The letter reads, "Youth and students are the future of the country, but due to the Corona epidemic, their career is in trouble. There are many apprehensions about admissions and classes, which need to be removed at the earliest. Like this time, lakhs of students have passed the 12th, but now they are sitting at home waiting for what to do next. "

Chief Ministers of 7 non-NDA-ruled states want to postpone the exam

The examination of JEE-Mains and NEET between Corona has now become a matter of opposition versus government. Chief Ministers of 7 states, under the leadership of Congress President Sonia Gandhi, have demanded postponement of the examination. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh said that all states should come together to the Supreme Court. It was then decided that a review petition would be filed in the Supreme Court. At the same time, Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren said to meet the President before going to court.

The JEE-Main examination was to be held on April 7-11 and on May 3, but was postponed 2 times due to Corona. It is now September schedule. The Supreme Court has already rejected the application to postpone these examinations. The National Testing Agency (NTA) had also said on Tuesday that the examinations will now be held on scheduled time i.e. from September 1 to September 6 and NEET on September 13. On the other hand, the states opposing these examinations contend that it will not be right to conduct examinations given Corona's condition.
