On Wednesday, 14 thousand 504 active cases were reduced in the country. It has decreased by two lakhs in the last 27 days. On 17 September, they were at a peak of 10.17 lakhs and on 14 October they increased to 8 lakh 12 thousand. In the last three weeks, new cases have also decreased by about 3%. The rate was 8.82% between 17 and 23 September, which declined to 6.05% between 8 and 14 October.

 

On Wednesday, 67 thousand 791 cases were received, 81 thousand 582 patients were cured and 690 died. With this, the number of total infected has crossed 73 lakh to 73.05 lakh. So far 63.80 lakh patients have been cured, 1.11 lakh patients have died. These figures are taken from covid19india.org.

 

Corona updates

 

The Punjab government has decided to reopen the school in the state. State Education Minister Vijay Inder Singla said that SOP has been prepared for opening the school and has been sent to the Health Department for approval. The date will be announced as soon as the approval is given.

 

According to the Ministry of Health, the timing of corona cases doubling in India is steadily increasing. Now it has risen to 70.4 days. It was 25.5 days in mid-August. This indicates a decrease in the number of cases that occur daily and an increase in the time taken to double cases.

 

Mulayam Singh Yadav and his wife Corona have been found positive. Both had no symptoms of corona. Treatment is underway at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram. According to sources, the condition of both is stable.

 

All schools, colleges, educational and coaching institutes will remain closed in Maharashtra till 31 October. Online education will continue during this period, but students will not be able to go to school. There is also a ban on any kind of activity.

 

The Maharashtra government has decided to start the metro train in the state from Thursday 15 October. According to the government, trains will be started in different phases. Mumbai Metro will start on October 19. This was informed by the tweeting by Metro Corporation.

 

The Uttarakhand cabinet has decided to open schools for students of 10th and 12th from 1st November. State Cabinet Minister Madan Kaushik gave this information.

1. Madhya Pradesh

 

The state recorded a record of 5515 new cases of infection on Wednesday. 5729 patients recovered, while 15 died. So far, 1 lakh 55 thousand 276 people have been infected in the state. Of these, 1 lakh 38 thousand 158 people have been cured, while 14 thousand 432 are under treatment. So far, 2686 patients have died. 24.8 lakh people have been screened in the state.

 

2. Rajasthan

 

In the last 24 hours, 2021 new cases were found in the state. 2219 patients recovered and 15 died. So far, more than 34.1 lakh people have been screened. Among them, 1 lakh 65 thousand 240 people were found infected, while 21 thousand 711 people are under treatment. 1 lakh 41 thousand 835 people have been recovered. 1694 patients have died due to infection.

 

3. Bihar

 

The report of 1326 people in the state on Wednesday came positive. 1375 people were recovered and 6 patients died. So far, more than 86.7 lakh people have been screened. Among them, 1 lakh 99 thousand 549 people have been found infected, while 10 thousand 583 are under treatment. 1 lakh 87 thousand 998 people have been recovered. 967 patients have died.

 

4. Maharashtra

 

On Wednesday, 10 thousand 552 people were found infected in the state, 19 thousand 517 people were cured and 158 patients died. So far 15 lakh 54 thousand 389 people have been found infected. Among them, 1 lakh 96 thousand 288 patients are being treated, while 13 lakh 16 thousand 769 people have been cured. So far, 40 thousand 859 patients have died due to infection.

 

5. Uttar Pradesh

 

Within the last 24 hours, 2593 new patients were found in the state, 3736 people were cured and 41 patients died. So far, more than 12 million people have been screened. Of these, 4 lakh 44 thousand 711 people have been found infected, while 36 thousand 898 are under treatment. 4 lakh 1 thousand 306 patients have been cured so far. 6507 people have died due to corona.
