South superstar Nayanthara is in the headlines these days. Her documentary Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairytale has been released on Netflix. There is a rift between Nayanthara and Dhanush regarding this documentary. Both are targeting each other. This matter has escalated so much that Nayanthara wrote an open letter about Dhanush. Now Dhanush has reacted to this open letter. He has given a 24-hour ultimatum to Nayanthara and Netflix.
After Nayanthara's letter, Dhanush's lawyer has shared a statement. In which he has talked about taking legal action against Nayanthara and Netflix and has given them a 24-hour ultimatum. He has said that if they do not remove the footage, then a compensation of 10 crores will have to be paid.
Dhanush is furious at Nayanthara and Netflix.
Dhanush's lawyer wrote in the statement - 'My client is the producer of the film and he knows where he has spent every penny for the production of the film. Your client has stated that my client has not employed anyone to shoot behind the scenes and this statement is baseless. Your client will have to provide strict evidence of this.'
He further wrote that his client found the submission of the opposite party ambiguous as he claimed that the BTS footage belonged to the person who recorded it. He further said that the clip belonged to his client as the filmmaker. Advise your client to remove the material infringing my client's copyright on the film 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan' by using it in your client's documentary 'Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairytale' within 24 hours, failing which my client will be forced to initiate appropriate legal action against your client and Netflix India, including but not limited to seeking damages up to Rs 10 crore.'
