
New Delhi, March 27 (IANS) A court here on Friday concluded recording of statement of accused in connection with money laundering related to the 2G spectrum allocation case and fixed April 6 for examination of defence evidence in the case.
Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Special Judge O.P. Saini recorded the statements of two firms -- DB Realty Limited and Mystical Construction (earlier known as Nihar Constructions) and Kusegaon Fruits and Vegetables director Rajiv Agarwal.
A draft copy of the questionnaire containing 400 questions was supplied to the accused on March 4, which they had to answer as part of their statement in the case.
After recording the statement of accused, the court fixed the matter for recording of defence evidence April 6.
The court directed the accused to file list of defence witnesses by March 31.
On Tuesday, the court recorded the statement of former telecom minister A. Raja, DMK MP Kanimozhi and three other accused in the case.
