The war between Russia and Ukraine continues for the 36th day. US officials have claimed that Russian President Vladimir Putin is being misinformed by his advisers about the poor performance of Russian forces in Ukraine. An official said that this led to tensions between Putin and senior Russian military officials.

 

The White House official said that Putin is also not aware of the damage to the Russian economy due to the economic sanctions imposed by the US and its allies.

 

On the other hand, Ukrainian officials have said that its bombardment continues in Kyiv and surrounding areas, including Chernihiv, despite claims by the Russian army to reduce attacks.
