5 records of the T20 World Cup which are almost impossible to break: Yuvraj had hit fifty in 12 balls, Kohli's average is like Everest

The T20 World Cup-2022 has started touching the sky in terms of adventure as well as its debut. In the first two days, two major upheavals took place. Namibia beat Sri Lanka, then Scotland beat West Indies. It is being called the most open World Cup ever. Any team can win this tournament. That is, nothing is certain.

In terms of winners, this year's World Cup may be the most uncertain in its 15-year history, but there are some tournament records that you can be almost certain will not be broken this time around. If they break, it will be called nothing less than a miracle.

5. Gayle's most sixes

Former West Indies captain Chris Gayle has 63 sixes in the T20 World Cup. After Gayle, former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh is at number two. He has hit 33 sixes in T20 World Cup. Rohit Sharma and David Warner have hit 31 sixes so far in the T20 World Cup among the players currently playing. Both the players are 35 years old and both are still far from Gayle's record. In such a situation, it seems difficult to break Gayle's record.

Rohit Sharma and David Warner have to play 5 matches in this World Cup. If the teams of Australia and India also play the semi-finals and final, then this number will increase to seven. Both need 32 sixes to break Gayle's record. In that case, it will be very difficult.

4. Highest Margin Wins

The match was being played between Sri Lanka and Kenya during the group stage of the 2007 T20 World Cup. In this match held in Johannesburg, South Africa, Sri Lanka broke many records and made many records. Sri Lanka scored 260 runs against Kenya. This is the highest score by any team in the history of the T20 World Cup.

When Kenya came to chase the target, the Sri Lankan bowlers all out the Kenyan batsmen for just 88 runs. Sri Lanka won by 172 runs. So far no team has even come close to this record. Scotland has lost the T20 World Cup twice by a margin of 130 runs. At the same time, in the 2012 T20 World Cup, England defeated Afghanistan by a margin of 116 runs. This record also seems impossible to break.

3. Biggest run chase

In the T20 World Cup 2016, England and South Africa met in a group-stage match. South Africa had scored 229 runs for the loss of 4 wickets. In reply, England batsman Joe Root faced 44 balls in this match and scored 83 runs. Jason Roy also played a brilliant inning of 43 runs in 16 balls in this match. So far in the history of the T20 World Cup, only 2 teams have been able to chase the target of 200+ runs. In such a situation, it seems difficult to break this record in England.

2. Yuvraj's Fastest Fifty

In 2007, India won the first T20 World Cup under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. In this tournament, former India legend Yuvraj Singh hit 6 sixes in 6 balls against England. This record of Yuvraj may have been the most talked about, but in this match, Yuvi made another record that has not been broken to date. He had hit fifty in just 12 balls. Yuvraj's bat had scored 58 runs in 16 balls before getting out.

Former West Indies captain Chris Gayle and Afghanistan batsman Hazratullah Zazai have scored half-centuries in 12 balls, but this was a domestic T20 tournament. After Yuvraj, in the 2014 T20 World Cup, Netherlands batsman Stephen Myberg scored a half-century against Ireland in 17 balls.

This World Cup Jos Buttler and Suryakumar Yadav can break Yuvraj's record. Both have scored runs in T20 cricket this year at a strike rate of 180.

1. Highest Average

Virat Kohli has a record in the name of the T20 World Cup which is difficult to break. Kohli has so far scored 845 runs in 21 matches at an average of 76.82 in the shortest format of cricket in the World Cup. He has also scored 10 fifties in this mega tournament. No player is even around Kohli right now. He is followed by former Australian batsman Michael Hussey. His average is 54.63.
