West Bengal Police said that the matter is of Ward No. 5, where Haseen Jahan had started construction on the land. This land is in the name of her daughter, Arsi. Her neighbour objected to this construction and said that this is disputed land.
Shami and Haseen Jahan have got divorced a long time ago. Recently, Calcutta High Court had ordered Shami to give Rs 4 lakh monthly to Haseen Jahan and daughter. Haseen Jahan was not happy with this and she believed that this amount is less for her and her daughter to live. She had demanded Rs 10 lakh from the court.
