The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the full schedule of the 15th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). However, right now the BCCI has announced the schedule of only 70 league matches of IPL 2022, while when and where the four matches of the playoff including the final will be played, will be decided later. This time BCCI has changed the format of IPL. BCCI has divided 10 teams into two groups. Accordingly, Mumbai Indians (MI) will play two matches each against Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals, Lucknow Super Giants, and Chennai Super Kings, while Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings, and Gujarat will play one match each.
