In an interview given to News18, Aamir Khan has told that due to his career, he has been continuously ignoring his family, but now he will not do so at all. According to the actor, 'Usually, people spend 3-4 years on the growth of their career. For some people, it takes even longer. I have constantly ignored family things because of my career.

In this interview, Aamir Khan has also talked about his ex-wife Reena. Aamir Khan further said, 'I wanted to win the hearts of the audience. The family was with me and because of this, I kept losing work. Somewhere I have been running away from my responsibilities towards the family. From my parents to Reena, Kiran, and my kids, I would like to make a fresh start. Now I realize that the people who were with me were everything to me...I just couldn't give time to them.'
