Panaji, March 2 (IANS) With the Congress proving unable to create enough space as opposition, the AAP has resolved to form a shadow cabinet to keep track of ministerial functioning in the Bharatiya Janata Party-led (BJP) coalition government in Goa.
The shadow cabinet will be operated by the youth wing members of AAP. It will track and evaluate the delivery of the BJP-led state government on its poll promises as made in its election manifesto in 2012, said Suhani Shah, an AAP spokesperson.
"It will also track the progress of the current BJP government vis-a-vis the promises made to the youth in their 2012 manifesto," she added.
After contesting the Lok Sabha elections in the state, the AAP, has been in political hibernation for long and revived only recently, following the huge victory of the party in the Delhi state assembly polls.
