Accident in Auraiya of UP: DCM killed in Trola in Auraiya, 24 killed and more than 25 injured

Accident in Auraiya of UP: In the midst of increasing infection due to corona virus, road accidents are also increasing. Even in the lockdown, in the midst of all the arrangements to bring the migrant workers / workers of the governments to their homes, people are moving towards the houses on foot or taking the threat.

 

A trolley filled with similar people was hit by a DCM truck from behind in Auraiya on Saturday, killing 24 people and injuring 25 people. Truck and parked DCM of migrants going from Rajasthan to Bihar and Jharkhand collided. Those who have been sent to hospitals. 20 seriously injured laborers have been admitted to Saifai Medical College. While the other injured is admitted to the district hospital. Aruiya CMO Dr Archana Srivastava said that 24 people were brought to the hospital in a dead condition. At present, 35 people are hospitalized and 15 people, who were seriously injured, have been referred to Saifai PGI.

 

 

Commissioner, IG has also reached the spot. A team of Health Department along with the administrative officer and staff is also present on the spot. Police and health personnel are involved in relief and rescue operations. DM Abhishek Singh told that the injured have been admitted to the district hospital for treatment. The seriously injured have been admitted to Saifai Medical College, where the condition of 15 injured remains critical.

 

A high speed DCM hit a container parked outside a dhaba on the National Highway on Saturday at Chihuli in Kotwali area in Auraiya. Both the container and the DCM fell into the ravine after the collision. 24 laborers on board died in it. Around four o'clock on Saturday morning, the container going to Gorakhpur with workers stopped outside a dhaba. The workers had boarded the container from Delhi and Faridabad and were going to Gorakhpur. The driver went to drink tea and the workers were sleeping. Meanwhile, the high speed DCM hit the container. Due to which the container fell into the ravine and DCM also overturned in the ravine. The people of the dhaba ran away. Screamed. The police reached the spot and relief work started at five o'clock.

 

The buried and crane were removed by removing the container and DCM from the crane. 24 people were declared dead in the district hospital. 15 serious injured were referred to Saifai. While 20 minor injuries are being treated in the district hospital. DM Abhishek Singh told that the workers were going from Delhi to Gorakhpur. The laborers are from Deoria and West Bengal. On receiving the number of several deceased, information has been given to their kith and kin. Mandalayak Sudhir M Bobde said that an inquiry has been ordered into the incident.

 

Names of 18 deceased, addresses of 16 have been found. 6 are currently unknown.

CM Yogi Adityanath has known

 

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath called Commissioner Sudhir M Bobde, who reached the spot and informed about the incident and expressed condolences. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has deeply mourned the death of migrant workers / workers in a road accident in Auraiya. He has expressed his condolences to the bereaved family. The Chief Minister has directed to provide all possible relief to the victims and to provide proper treatment to all the injured. He has instructed the Mandalayukt Kanpur and IG Kanpur to immediately reach the spot and carry out relief work under their supervision and provide information by investigating the causes of the accident. Instructions have been given for better treatment of the injured.

 

Akhilesh expressed grief

 

Former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav tweeted condolences. Apart from this, he has written that such an accident is not death but murder.

 

Workers who have gone to different states are returning home by road, but in the meantime, reports of road accidents are also shaking the hearts of all. After the fold of Madhya Pradesh, a horrific road accident has occurred in Muzaffarnagar and now Auraiya in the state.
