Advantage Assam 2.0: PM Modi inaugurated Advantage Assam 2.0; and said- a new future begins from the land of the East

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugurated the Advantage Assam 2.0 summit today. Many Union Ministers, global industry giants, heads of foreign missions in India, and many students were present in this program. Let us tell you that this two-day summit is being organized at the Veterinary College Field in Khanapara, Guwahati.

While addressing this program, PM Modi said, the land of Eastern India and North East is going to start a new future today. Advantage Assam is a great campaign to connect the whole world with the potential and progress of Assam. On this occasion, PM Modi said - History witnessed that even earlier Eastern India used to have a big role in the prosperity of India. Today when India is moving towards development, once again our Northeast is going to show its strength ... I congratulate the Government of Assam, and the entire team of Himanta Biswa Sarma ji for this grand event.

 

Assam's economy will be $143 billion by 2030: Himanta.

Earlier, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that Assam's economy will be $143 billion by 2030. He also urged investors to be a part of the state's development journey. At the opening ceremony of the two-day 'Advantage' Assam 2.0 Investment and Infrastructure Summit here, the CM emphasized that the state has now become the 'most peaceful' state from the 'most disturbed'.

 

He claimed this year the state's gross domestic product (GDP) growth will be 15.2 percent. It will become a $143 billion economy by 2030. The CM said in the presence of heads of missions and ambassadors of more than 60 countries, foreign trade delegations, and industry leaders of the country, "I can assure you today that we will ensure the best work and favorable environment for setting up industries in Assam. Please come here and invest." He said that the state has seen a revival since the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) came to power at the Centre under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2014.

 

These will be in focus.

The Advantage Assam 2.0 summit has a special focus on tourism, renewable energy and hydrocarbons, electronics and semiconductors, aerospace and defense manufacturing, bamboo and sustainable crops, and food and beverages, among many other topics.

 

Ambassadors of 61 countries are also present in Assam

After which the ambassadors of different countries visited Kaziranga National Park on Monday. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar led the delegation of ambassadors for this visit.
