Corona has once again started spreading its feet in the country. In the last 24 hours, 20,139 new cases were reported in the country, which is the highest since February 19. According to the report of Outbreak India, more than 19 thousand new cases of the corona were found in the country after 6 months. There was an increase of 19 percent in new cases on Wednesday as compared to Tuesday. On Tuesday, 16,107 were found infected.

 

On Wednesday, 39 patients died of the corona, while 16,482 patients were cured. After the arrival of new cases, the total positivity rate in the country has reached 5.10%.

 

Since the initial visit of Corona till now, the number of active cases in the country, ie the number of patients undergoing treatment, has crossed 1 lakh 34 thousand, on Tuesday its figure was 1 lakh 30 thousand. The number of people who have been cured has been recorded as 16,064.

 

Almost double the cases were reported in Kerala

 

Kerala has the highest number of cases and deaths in the country. In the last 24 hours, 3,545 cases have been registered here and 16 people have died. There are 25,579 active cases in the state. The number of cured patients is 2,761 and the positivity rate has come down to 14.56%. On Tuesday, 2,211 cases were reported in Kerala and the positivity rate was found to be 15.69%.

 

Cases increased in West Bengal compared to the previous day

 

Cases have been reported in West Bengal after Kerala. In the last 24 hours, 2,979 cases have been registered here. 4 people have lost their lives here from Corona. Active cases have increased to 27,496 in the state. A day earlier there were 25,880. The number of cured patients is 1359 and the positivity rate was recorded at 18.59%. On Tuesday, 2,659 cases were reported here and 5 people died.

 

Record cases surfaced in Himachal in 6 months

 

358 new corona patients have been found in Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday, which is a record in the last six months. A maximum of 80 new corona patients have been found in Chamba district and 66 in Kangra. After the recovery of 128 people, the active cases in the state have gone up to 1580. On Wednesday, the positivity rate in the state decreased from 10.35% to 9.52% as compared to last Tuesday. It was less than 2% in the first two weeks of June.
