On Friday, China congratulated Joe Biden, who won the US presidential election, and Kamala Harris, who was elected vice-president. Even after Biden got a majority in the US election results, China refrained from congratulating him, saying that the final decision had not yet been taken and Trump had decided to go to court, refusing to give up. But now the dragon has taken Return.

The Washington Post reported that China's foreign ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said at a regular press conference on Friday, "We respect the choice of the American people ... We congratulate Biden and Harris." Further added, "We believe that the US election results will be confirmed under US laws and procedure."

China's Foreign Ministry had earlier said that it was still waiting for the results. China said that we have seen Biden's claim to victory. Chinese foreign policy experts say that China took this step as a precaution because Trump has not given up. Chinese President Xi Jinping is yet to personally congratulate Biden.

On the other hand, articles are being published in the Chinese government mouthpiece Global Times about Biden's victory and the impact it has on the US-China relationship. The mouthpiece has said that Biden's victory may bring short-term softening between the two countries, but there will be no change in the long run. The newspaper said that Trump and Biden's policy would be the same as China.

Significantly, Biden has cleared the way to the White House in his third attempt. They have defeated Trump in the closest contest in the US presidential election and have won the necessary electoral votes for a majority. If he is going to become the 46th President of the US, Kamala Harris of Indian origin is going to become the Vice President.
