Hamas counter-attack after the death of its leaders in Israel's attack

Palestinian extremist organization Hamas has carried out dozens of rocket attacks on Israel after the death of their senior commanders in an Israeli airstrike in Gaza and the collapse of a multi-story building.

There are reports that there have been attacks in many places in southern Israel and one child has died in the city of Sderot.

Sudden violence has erupted between Israel and Palestinian extremists since Monday, which is not taking the name of freeze. Palestinian extremists are carrying out rocket attacks in Israel and Israel is targeting extremist targets in Gaza.

So far 65 people have died in Gaza, including 14 children. At the same time, seven people died in Israel.

The United Nations has expressed deep concern over the situation and warned that this conflict can turn into a war.

Violence is also occurring within Israel in areas where Jews and Arabs live. In the Israeli media, it is being told that in many cities and towns of Israel, violence has been targeted at Arab people and Jews at some places.

Israeli police say that 374 people were arrested after the violence on Wednesday. 36 policemen were also injured.

Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has said that he is considering sending troops to help police in violence-hit cities.

In a video message on Wednesday night, he described these attacks as "anarchy", saying, "Nobody can justify attacking Arab Jews, and killing Arabs of Jewish miscreants."

Netanyahu said that his government would use its full power to protect Israel from outside enemies and rioters within the country.

Netanyahu had earlier declared an emergency in the city of Lod, near Tel Aviv. According to the Times of Israel, this is the first time since 1966 that the government has used emergency officials against the Arab community.

On the other hand, the Palestinian Authority, which has partially ruled the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, has condemned Israel's military invasion. He has tweeted and said that his actions "are already causing a distressed population of 20 lakh people more and more distressed".

What happened on Wednesday?

Hamas extremists in Gaza said that they had fired 130 rockets at it in response to the Israeli attack.

The Israeli army carried out airstrikes in Gaza on Tuesday night and in this attack, two tower blocks of Gaza were demolished. One of these towers housed Hamas TV channel Al-Aqsa TV. However, this was the third tower in Gaza, which was dropped in an Israeli airstrike, in an attack going on since Monday.

Israel said of the attack that it has killed senior Hamas leaders in Gaza and is also attacking the targets from which the Hamas missile is being fired.

Hamas has acknowledged the killing of one of its senior commanders and senior leaders.

The Israeli army said that the attack in Gaza on Tuesday night was the biggest attack since 2014.

Before the attack, people were warned to leave the buildings. But in Gaza, the Health Ministry of Hamas says that even after this, common people have died.

According to the news agency AFP, in an attack on Tuesday, five people of a family were killed, including two younger brothers.

His 14-year-old relative's brother cried, "We were all laughing and having fun when they started blitzing. There was fire everywhere around us."

On the other hand, according to the Israeli army, on Wednesday evening, after warning of rocket attacks on sirens across the country, millions of Israelis went to the shelters to avoid bomb attacks.

Jerusalem Post newspaper correspondent Anna Aronheim told the BBC how she remained hidden in the shelter with her five-month-old child at night.

"It was scary to hear the sound of hundreds of missile interceptors and rockets falling nearby," he said.

The Israeli army said on Thursday morning that about 1,500 rockets have been fired on Israeli cities from Gaza since the start of the conflict. Many of them were killed by Israel's Dome Air Defense System in the air but fell mostly on Israeli cities.

This series of violence between Israel and Palestinian Arabs started over a year-old dispute about which tension had been building for the past month.

How the latest violence erupted

This process of struggle has started after the unrest in Jerusalem for the last about a month.

It began after threatening to evict Palestinian families from East Jerusalem whom Jews claim their land and want to settle there. Because of this, there were clashes between the protesters and the police in the Arab-populated areas there.

On Friday, clashes broke out between protesters and police near the Al-Aqsa Mosque in East Jerusalem.

There have been skirmishes between the two sides before the Al-Aqsa Mosque, but the violence last Friday was the most serious since 2017.

Al-Aqsa Mosque is considered by both Muslims and Jews to be a holy site.

What is the dispute between Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque?

After the Middle East War of 1967, Israel took control of East Jerusalem and considers the entire city as its capital.

However, the international community does not support it. Palestinians see East Jerusalem as the capital of a future independent country.

Tension has increased in the area for the last few days. It is alleged that the Jews who claim this part of the land are trying to evict the Palestinians, which is a matter of dispute.
