Security personnel in Nepal have detained one person. We are negotiating for his release. We do not want to increase the talk. "

According to the information, the incident is from Janakinagar village in the Sonamarsa border area of ​​Sitamarhi. Some people were working in the fields near the border. Meanwhile, the firing was done on behalf of Nepal. In the firing, 25-year-old Dinesh Kumar, a resident of Janakinagar Tola Lalbandi, died. Three people are injured. The condition of two of them is critical. All have been admitted to Sitamarhi hospital. There is tension at the border since the incident.

 

 

Border dispute going on in India and Nepal

Relations between India and Nepal are strained due to the border dispute. On May 8, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the road from Lipulekh to Dharachula. Nepal then protested, stating Lipulekh as its part. On 18 May, Nepal released a new map. In this, three areas of India called Lipulekh, Limpiyadhura, and Kalapani as their share.

 

Nepal is going to include the new map in its constitution. On the other hand, India has made it clear that Nepal's claim is not based on historical evidence.

The armed border force is responsible for security along the border between India and Nepal. On Friday's incident, SSB IG (Bihar Sector) said - There is news of firing in Sitamarhi. This area is bordered by Nepal. Locals allege that the firing came from Nepal. This is the first incident of death from a bullet on the Bihar border bordering Sitamarhi. There have been incidents of assault before this.
