Lok Sabha Election 2024: 'The sun of June 4 will bring a new dawn in the country', Rahul-Priyanka appealed to voters to vote during the seventh phase

Voting for the last phase of Lok Sabha elections is going on in the country today. Meanwhile, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has described June 4 as a transformative moment for India. Voting is taking place on 57 Lok Sabha seats today. Gandhi said in a tweet on X, Dear fellow citizens, today is the day of voting for the seventh and final phase, and the trends so far indicate that the government of I.N.D.I.A. is going to be formed in the country.

 

He expressed pride in the perseverance of the voters and said that despite the scorching heat, you all have come out to vote to protect democracy and the Constitution. Rahul Gandhi urged citizens to cast their votes decisively. Gandhi said,

 

He stressed the importance of this moment and predicted that the sun of June 4 would bring a new dawn to the country.

 

Here, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi said that it has become clear that the government of India is going to be formed. He also urged voters to vote in large numbers. Priyanka Gandhi said,

 

The Lok Sabha elections in the country began on April 19 and so far voting has been done on 486 Lok Sabha seats in six phases. Voting has started in the last 57 parliamentary constituencies in seven states and the Union Territory of Chandigarh at 7 am today.

 

The seven states where voting is to be held include Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, and the Union Territory of Chandigarh. Voting for the remaining 42 assembly constituencies of the Odisha State Assembly will also be held simultaneously. A total of 904 candidates are in the fray for the last phase of voting.
