After an interview with Tulsi Peethadheeswar Jagadguru Swami Rambhadracharya, his successor Acharya Ramchandradas has come forward regarding the controversy. He clarified to the media that Jagadguru is everyone's Guru and all the people are like his children (sons). His words are being presented in a distorted manner on the internet media.
He said that Gurudev has clearly said that he is not jealous of Premanand ji in any way. He is a good Namjapak saint, and every person who chants the name of God is worthy of respect in the eyes of Gurudev. In his discourses, Gurudev repeatedly says that whoever worships Ram-Krishna, irrespective of his religion, caste, age, or gender, is worthy of respect. How can a Namjapak saint like Premanand be considered a stranger?
He clarified, Jagadguru has clearly said in the interview that Premanand is like his son both in terms of age and religious system. Consider it, though the words spoken by the father may seem harsh, yet the feeling in his heart is always for the welfare of his son. Jagadguru is the Guru of all; all the subjects are like sons to him. Hence, just as a father does not wish any harm to his children, similarly Jagadguru does not wish any harm to any Sanatani.
Acharya Ramchandra Das said that if the Guru starts speaking sweetly to please his disciple, then the destruction of religion is inevitable. That is why Gurudev keeps alerting the people from time to time through his words. Gurudev is continuously working for the Sanatanis through service, education, and sanskar. Every saint who visits Tulsi Peeth is served through food, accommodation, clothing etc. Gurudev propagates education through schools, universities, his scriptures, and discourses. By following and getting others to follow the Vedic norms, Gurudev keeps sowing the seeds of sanskars in the hearts of the common people.
He said that Gurudev is extremely worried to see the decline of classical thinking in today's time. He has been saying repeatedly for years that I do not believe in miracles but in effort. Despite being so old, most of Gurudev's daily routine is spent in reading and teaching. Gurudev is always trying to generate public interest in the study of religious scriptures. Therefore, those who are calling it jealousy need to think again.
Acharya Ramchandra Das said that for its own benefit, internet media uses selfless saints as a medium for its selfish ends. Their words are presented in a distorted manner so that people's faith in saints ends, and their TRP keeps increasing. Therefore, there is a need to be alert. Whether it is a matter of giving testimony for the Ram temple or doing the greatest service to religion by writing more than 200 books, Pujya Gurudev has proved to be benevolent for Sanatanis in every way. So, is it right to use objectionable words like jealous, arrogant for such a great man? Even if the elders of the house say harsh words, should they take revenge by saying harsh words in return? Think about it.
Let us tell you that during the interview, Jagadguru had said that if Premanand Maharaj has a miracle, then he should recite a Sanskrit shloka in front of him. Explain the meaning of any shloka said by me. His popularity is momentary. Premanand is like a child. After this statement, various types of comments are coming in the internet media.
