Agriculture law withdrawn due to election fear, now Modi government should repeal CAA too; Owaisi's demand

During the winter session, the government withdrew all three agriculture laws. The Agricultural Laws Repeal Bill 2021 has been passed by both houses of Parliament. Now AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi has tried to surround the government. He said the government withdrew the agriculture laws out of fear of elections. In such a situation, the government should also repeal CAA.

With the withdrawal of all three agricultural laws from both the Houses of Parliament, Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, PM Narendra Modi has fulfilled his promise to the farmers. Now after the signature of President Ram Nath Kovind, all three laws will be completely withdrawn.

Describing the return of agricultural laws as the right decision, AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi has told election fear behind it. Fearing political losses ahead of the assembly elections, the Modi government has repealed agricultural laws, he said. A large group in the country is saying that CAA is a violation of Article 14 of the Constitution. We demand that the Center repeal the Citizenship (Amendment) Act.

Let us inform you that during the all-party meeting before the winter session on Sunday, NDA's ally National People's Party also demanded the government to withdraw the CAA law. Party MP Agatha Sangma said in a conversation with reporters that we have placed our demand in front of the government. The government has not given any response but has given assurance.
