New START Treaty: Putin suspends START nuclear deal with US, apprehensions about war increased

Warning to Western countries, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the termination of the New Start Treaty with the US regarding nuclear weapons. In this agreement, transparency was to be maintained in both countries regarding nuclear weapons. There was also an inspection of each other's nuclear weapons and there was talk of not allowing the use of weapons.

 

Apprehensions increased due to the suspension of the agreement

Tell that a dialogue system was made for this. Both countries also had to keep the nuclear number limited. The agreement was to last until 2026, but amid tensions arising from the Ukraine war, Putin has raised fears by breaking the agreement. This is the last major agreement between Russia and the US that has been broken.
