Earlier, the Delhi government had filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court urging it to allow construction activities of hospitals in the national capital. The Central Government has constituted a task force regarding the ongoing air pollution in Delhi-NCR. During the hearing in the Supreme Court on Friday, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta told that the Enforcement Task Force and Flying Squad have been constituted by the government to deal with pollution. This task force consists of five members and has been given legislative powers. The task force also has provoking and preventive legislative powers.
