Al-Nassr : Ronaldo completed 500 league goals in his career, and delivered the ball inside the net four times within 40 minutes

Football star Cristiano Ronaldo scored four goals as Al-Nassr thrashed Al Waheda Club 4-0 in the Saudi Arabian Pro League. Along with this, Ronaldo also completed 500 career league goals. Now the number of league goals in his career has increased to 503.

After this win, Al-Nassr reached the top of the points table. They jointly top the table with Al Shabab with 11 wins, four draws, one loss, and 37 points from 16 matches. Al-Nassr is on top because of the goal difference.

After celebrating his 38th birthday on Sunday, Ronaldo scored all four of his goals for Al-Nassr in the space of 40 minutes. Ronaldo has a contract with Al-Nassr Club till June 2025. He has joined Al-Nassr since signing with English club Manchester United. He has so far played three matches for his new club.

Ronaldo opened his and his team's account in the match by scoring with his left foot in the 21st minute. After this, Ronaldo scored the second goal in the 40th minute, but his goal was checked with the help of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) and then the referee confirmed the goal.

Ronaldo put Al-Nassr ahead 2–0 in the first half. Ronaldo started the goal in the second half as well. He completed his hat trick by scoring a penalty in the 53rd minute. Meanwhile, Ronaldo continued his goalscoring streak. He scored from inside the box in the 61st minute to take his club career tally to 503.

The team has also registered its first win under Ronaldo. Both the previous matches were draws. This is the first time since the match between Portugal and Lithuania in September 2019 that Ronaldo has scored four goals in a match. The match was played during the qualifying tournament for the European Championship. Since March 2018, Ronaldo has scored four goals in one match for any club. Earlier, he scored four goals against Girona in La Liga while playing for Real Madrid.

Ronaldo said after the match – It feels great to score four goals. I am happy that I managed to score 500 goals. It was a great win for the team. Ronaldo has become the fifth footballer in the world to score 500 or more league goals. Before him, Pele (604 goals), Romario (544 goals), Josef Bikan (518 goals), and Ferenc Puskas (514 goals) scored 500+ goals.
