Former Pakistan prime minister Imran Khan said he no longer "blames" the US administration for ousting him from power. He said that our relationship with America is like master and servant. Pakistan was used as a hired gun. The former prime minister has consistently promoted the slogan that he was removed because of a foreign conspiracy. Imran now says he wants a "dignified" relationship between Washington and Islamabad.

 

Referring to his earlier comments on the US role in the alleged plot, Imran Khan has said, "As far as I am concerned, it is over, it is past for me now," reported the Financial Times. " Imran further says, "Our relationship with America is like a master servant. We were used as hired guns. But for this, I blame our governments more than America."

 

Imran Khan traveled to Moscow on the eve of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Linking Imran's visit to Moscow to the war, Imran Khan said it was "shameful" as his trip was scheduled months in advance.

Imran Khan also said that the military can play a "constructive role" in his plans for Pakistan. Citing a balance between civil and military relations, Imran said that because "you don't have an elected government right now, the army has a big responsibility to the people at this time."
