Amit Shah attacked Mamata Banerjee, who went to Nandigram to seek votes in favor of BJP candidate Shubhendu Adhikari to vote for the second phase of the West Bengal assembly elections. He targeted Mamata at the press conference after the roadshow held in Nandigram and said that a rape incident took place within a radius of five kilometers from her house where Didi lives. In such a situation, what will happen to the security of Bengal? Shah also lashed out at the TMC chief for the death of the old mother of a BJP worker a day earlier.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said, "A few days ago the old mother of a BJP worker is beaten to death, that mother also died yesterday. Yet Mamata didi talks about women's safety, it is well known by the people of Bengal. "Shah further said," A rape incident took place within 5 km radius of where Mamta didi resides. I want to ask Mamta Didi, who talks about women's safety, what will happen to the security of Bengal when you are in Nandigram? I want to appeal to the people of Nandigram today that you have to not only win the Shubhendu Adhikari but with such a strong majority, that it will be impossible for any politician to turn back to the promises made to the people in the coming days.

Defeat Mamta Didi in Nandigram: Amit Shah

After the roadshow, Amit Shah demanded people to defeat Mamta Banerjee from the Nandigram assembly seat. He said, "Everyone who talks to people and activists here believes that change has to be done in the whole of Bengal, but the simple way of change in the whole of Bengal is to defeat Mamta didi here in Nandigram." With the unprecedented enthusiasm that the people of Nandigram have shown in the roadshow, it is sure that BJP candidate Shubhendu Adhikari is going to win by a very large margin.

Shah did a roadshow in Nandigram

Union Home Minister Amit Shah conducted a big road-show on Tuesday in Nandigram, a high-profile constituency for the second phase of the West Bengal assembly elections. Standing on a lorry adorned with flowers and BJP flags, Shah waved a wave of crowds on the four-kilometer road between Bethuria and Rayapada in the East Midnapore Assembly constituency. He was accompanied by Shubhendu Adhikari, who came to BJP from TMC. Crowds of locals flocked on both sides of the road to witness the road-show. This roadshow passed through narrow streets amid slogans of 'Jai Shri Ram,' Narendra Modi Zindabad, and 'Amit Shah Zindabad. The road-show saw many people making videos and taking selfies. All eyes are on Nandigram from where Shubhendu Adhikari is on the BJP ticket against West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Campaigning is to end at 5 pm in this constituency. There will be voting on April 1.
