Kerala elections: PM Modi said this while referring to Jesus Christ

Palakkad: Addressing an election rally in Palakkad today, ahead of the assembly elections on 6 April in Kerala, the ruling Left Front coalition attacked the LDF. Referring to the alleged gold smuggling case, he said that just as Judas betrayed Christ for a few pieces of silver, the LDF betrayed Kerala for a few pieces of gold.

Addressing his first rally in the state in the wake of Kerala assembly elections, the Prime Minister criticized the behavior of the state government during the demonstrations in the state against the decision of the Supreme Court to implement the entry of women of all ages into the Sabarimala temple and Said that the Left regime should feel ashamed for showering sticks on innocent devotees.

He accused of "match-fixing" between the LDF and the main opposition coalition United Democratic Front (UDF) and said that the names of the two may be different but their work is the same.

Addressing the rally, PM Modi said that he is feeling excited while addressing the first election rally in the state. He said that Palakkad has a special relationship with the BJP.

He said, "There has been a friendly agreement between UDF and LDF in Kerala politics for many years. Now the voters of the state are asking which match-fixing is this? One was robbed for five years and another for the next five years. "

He said that the youth of Kerala are speaking out loud today that even though the names of UDF and LDF are different, the work of both is the same. During the tenure of both, there was loot of public money.

Pointing to the alleged solar panel scam and gold smuggling case during the UDF regime, he said, "UDF has not even given up sunlight." It can be said about LDF that Judas betrayed Jesus for a few pieces of silver, LDF betrayed Kerala for a few pieces of gold. "

It is believed that one of his followers, named Judas, betrayed him for a few silver coins before he was sentenced to death on the cross.

It is to be known that M. Sivasankar was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate last year in the alleged high-profile gold smuggling case of the state. He was the Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. With his arrest, the LDF is on the target of the Congress and the BJP.

Taking a dig at the LDF and UDF over the Sabarimala case, Prime Minister Modi said, "The LDF government should be ashamed for showering sticks on innocent devotees and the UDF should be ashamed to keep silence in the meantime."

He said, "I want to say that if someone messes with our culture, we will not remain silent." I am proud that I belong to the party which has protected the culture of our country and will. "

Modi said that during this movement state BJP President K Surendran was arrested and he was treated badly. He asked, "What was their fault?" ... that he talked about the tradition of Kerala ... "

Taking a dig at the Left parties for political violence, he alleged that he has been in power many times but his leaders and workers behave like small-scale goons. Modi said, "Political rivals continue to be killed and murdered before his eyes and under his protection."

He promised that the culture of political violence will be abolished after the formation of the BJP government in the state. He said, "There can be political differences in a democracy but violence is not acceptable. Many of our young activists lost their lives. "

The Prime Minister claimed that a big change has been seen in the politics of Kerala for the last few years and this is happening because of the aspirations of the youth of the state, especially the first-time voters.

He said, "The youth who voted for the first time are unhappy with the LDF and the UDF. BJP's vision for Kerala is about the future of youth and their aspirations. This is the reason why the youth and jobbers of the state are openly supporting the BJP. The same atmosphere is there in India. "" Metro Man "E Sreedharan is contesting from Palakkad Assembly as a BJP candidate.
