The decision of the Uddhav government of Maharashtra to allow the sale of liquor in supermarkets is being criticized a lot. Meanwhile, social activist Anna Hazare has written a letter to Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray against the state government's decision to allow the sale of liquor in supermarkets and walk-in shops. In the letter, Hazare has also warned the state government to go on an indefinite strike against the decision.

Even before this, Anna Hazare also expressed strong opposition to the government's decision to sell liquor in supermarkets and called it unfortunate. Anna Hazare had said that the government's decision to allow liquor in supermarkets is unfortunate. The government must work towards de-addiction, but I am sad to see that it is taking decisions for financial gain, which will result in alcoholism."

Anna Hazare had also said during this time, "On one hand the state government talks about the interest of the farmers. It is also said that wine is not wine. Where will this decision take the state? This is the real question. According to the constitution, it should be the duty of the government to discourage and educate people about drugs, drugs, and alcohol. At the same time, the government is taking decisions to sell liquor for economic benefits. What will the government, which has set a target of selling 1000 billion liters of liquor in a year, actually achieve? This is a big question.
