iPhone Duo Features and Specifications
The iPhone Duo introduces Apple’s first foldable smartphone design. It opens like a book, giving users a larger display for multitasking, video playback, gaming, and compatible apps.
The phone features a 7.6-inch Super Retina XDR folding display on the inside and a 5.4-inch Super Retina XDR screen on the outside. Both displays support ProMotion technology. Apple says the inner screen offers 50% more viewing area than the display on the iPhone 18 Pro Max.
Powering the device is Apple’s A20 Pro chipset, designed to deliver high performance for demanding applications and on-device AI workloads. The phone runs iOS 27.1 and supports Apple Intelligence features, including Siri AI, with availability depending on language and region.
iPhone Duo Camera Features
For photography, the iPhone Duo has a 48MP Dual Fusion rear camera system with main and ultra-wide cameras. The setup is designed to support high-resolution photography and a range of shooting options.
On the front, the phone features a 12MP Center Stage camera for selfies and video calls. It also includes an under-display FaceTime camera for video calls when the device is unfolded.
The foldable design provides additional flexibility for capturing photos, making video calls, and using supported apps across different screen orientations.
Battery Life and Connectivity
Apple has equipped the iPhone Duo with a dual-battery system to accommodate its foldable design. According to the company, video playback can last up to 31 hours when using the inner display and up to 44 hours when using the outer display.
