The PC Jeweller share price climbed to ₹20.17 on the BSE, compared with the previous closing price of ₹18.51. The company also announced plans to open up to 100 new showrooms over the next 12–18 months, adding to investor interest in its growth strategy.

The company's consolidated net profit increased to ₹330.66 crore in Q2 FY27 from ₹209.54 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. Total income rose 28% to ₹1,054.47 crore, according to the reported quarterly results.

The increase in profit was accompanied by higher income, reflecting improved business performance during the quarter. Total expenses also increased compared with the year-ago period, making continued monitoring of operating costs important.

The quarterly results were a key factor behind the positive reaction in PC Jeweller shares on October 22.

PC Jeweller Becomes Debt-Free After Repaying 14 Banks

One of the most significant developments for PC Jeweller is the repayment of its outstanding dues to all 14 banks in its lending consortium ahead of schedule.

The company has stated that it has achieved debt-free status following the repayment. It expects a substantial reduction in interest expenses from the second half of FY27, which could support profitability in subsequent quarters.

Lower interest costs may improve the company's financial flexibility. However, the eventual impact on earnings will depend on operating performance, expenses and other financial factors.

During Q2 FY27, PC Jeweller also received approximately ₹142 crore in long-pending export-related receivables. The recovery provides additional context for assessing its cash flows and financial position.

PC Jeweller Shares Deliver Over 108% Returns in 2026

PC Jeweller has been among the closely watched jewellery stocks following its substantial share-price appreciation in 2026.

According to reported BSE market data, the stock's returns were approximately:

2026 year-to-date: 108.06%

Six months: 97.85%

Three months: 96.36%

One month: 42.65%

On October 22, the shares touched ₹20.17 during trading, compared with the previous close of ₹18.51.

These returns reflect historical price performance and may change with subsequent market movements. They should not be interpreted as an indication that the stock will continue to deliver similar gains.

Investors should also assess valuation, business risks, trading volatility and the company's financial disclosures before making investment decisions.

PC Jeweller Plans 100 New Showrooms in 12–18 Months

PC Jeweller is planning to expand its retail presence by opening up to 100 large-format showrooms across Tier-1, Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities over the next 12–18 months.

The company intends to use a combination of company-operated outlets and an asset-light franchise model to support its expansion.

A franchise-led strategy could help the company broaden its reach while managing the capital requirements associated with opening new stores. The actual pace of expansion will depend on execution, location selection and business conditions.

The company is also preparing to introduce a new jewellery brand aimed at younger customers and people buying jewellery for themselves.

The proposed offering will focus on lightweight and demi-fine jewellery, as well as lab-grown-diamond jewellery. This strategy could help PC Jeweller target new customer segments and respond to evolving consumer preferences.

Why Is the PC Jeweller Share Price Rising?

The latest rally in PC Jeweller shares follows several business developments:

1. Strong quarterly profit growth: Consolidated net profit increased by approximately 58% year-on-year to ₹330.66 crore.

2. Debt-free status: Repayment of dues to all 14 consortium banks marks a major milestone in the company's financial position.

3. Potential interest savings: Lower interest expenses could support future profitability, although the extent of the benefit remains to be seen.

4. Retail expansion: Plans to open up to 100 showrooms could increase the company's physical presence and customer reach.

5. New product opportunities: A proposed brand focused on lightweight and lab-grown-diamond jewellery could help the company target younger consumers.

While these developments have supported investor sentiment, the sustainability of the stock's rally will depend on future financial results, execution and overall market conditions.
